Considerations before making a reservation

Can you assist arranging special occasions (e.g., marriage anniversary, birthdays, etc.)?

We can suggest various plans according to your budget. Please inquire in advance.

We have a small child (children). Can we stay together?

We only allow one group per day at MOKU ISESHIMA, so feel free to bring your children.

Can two families stay together?

Yes. Yado Terasu is equipped with two bedrooms, and two extra beds can be installed in each bedroom. So, two families can comfortably stay with their children.

Is it possible to make a reservation by phone?

We are very sorry, but we do not accept reservations by phone. Please make a reservation using the online reservation form.

What time is check-in/out?

Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am.

Is it possible to stay without meals?

We offer only plans with meals. However, this is not the case for guests staying for multiple nights.

Is it possible to make reservations at SUSHI YUTAKA ZEN without staying overnight?

Yes, but only during the special promotion period, through May 2023. Please note that multiple groups of up to 8 people may use the restaurant at the same time. If you wish to reserve the entire restaurant, you will be charged an additional seat fee.

Can I stay with my pet(s)?

We are very sorry, but we do not allow guests to stay with their pet(s). If you wish to visit with your pet(s), please contact us in advance. However, assistance dogs are allowed. Please contact us in advance if you wish to stay with your assistance dog(s).

Can you pick me up?

Please come to Kashikojima Port by yourself. If you come by car, we will guide you to our parking lot. We will arrange a shuttle boat from the port.

Where are parking lots available?

We have parking lots for two cars near Kashikojima Port.

Is MOKU ISESHIMA a handicap accessible facility?

We are very sorry, but MOKU ISESHIMA is not a handicap accessible facility. Our staff can assist to a certain degree, but generally we ask that you arrange for assistance if required.

Is it possible for 1 person to stay?

Yes. However, the price is for 2 people.

Are there any alternative meals available for guests staying multiple nights?

For guests staying multiple nights, we can arrange other meals, such as traditional Japanese banquet meals, BBQ in the garden, etc. We can also arrange transport by boat to other restaurants with a pier.

Is it possible for my guide, interpreter, and/or helicopter pilot to stay overnight?

We have a separate room available for one guide, interpreter, or pilot on this island.

I have food allergies.

Please let us know in advance. We will do our best to safely prepare your meal.

I have diet restrictions due to religious reasons.

Please let us know in advance. We will do our best to responsibly prepare your meal.

During stay

What time is breakfast available?

We serve breakfast around 8:30, but if you wake up early for a special experience, such as a sunrise cruise, we will prepare breakfast at your requested time.

Can I smoke?

Please understand that no smoking is allowed inside our facilities, including electronic cigarettes and vaporizers. However, we can prepare a portable ashtray, so that you can enjoy smoking on the outdoor terrace.

When is the sauna available?

You can use it anytime from check-in to check-out.

Is it possible to use only the sauna?

We are very sorry, but we do not allow non-guests to use the sauna.

What kind of clothes should I wear when using the sauna?

We ask our guests to wear a swimsuit.

Until what time is room service available?

The last order is at 10:00pm.

Can I go shopping?

There are no shops on this remote island, so we have rental equipment and items for sale. If you stay consecutive nights, please inquire with us about shopping.

Can I watch TV?

Yes, you can.

Can I eat and/or drink any time in the facilities?

Yes. There are no 24hr shops on this island, so we suggest using room service.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants?

We do not have any dress code.

What should I do if I am late for the scheduled pick-up time?

We will arrange a shuttle boat separately, but we may not be able to meet your request.

Is it necessary to take any precautions against the cold?

We recommend that you bring a warm jacket if you use a shuttle boat, as the wind on the sea is cold in winter.

What kinds of payment are available?

We ask our guests to pay by credit card. Please present your credit card at check-in.

How much is a cancellation fee?

A cancellation fee will be charged as follows. ・Upon confirmation of reservation: 30% ・From 1 month prior to arrival: 50% ・From 2 weeks prior to arrival: 100% ・Non-stay: 100%
